The collection of information of this nature can be carried out by telephone conversation.  There is a case, however, for your Thomas Munroe consultant to visit the client host country and gain an understanding of the working, physical and social environments there.  The added advantage of appropriate photographic and movie images to attract and enthuse candidates is clear.  Stretched lines of communication, international time zones and different work styles often mean that international recruitment is more long winded than it is in the UK.  Keeping the interest and enthusiasm of candidates is a key factor in the success of the process and should not be undervalued.  This is a good value option if there are likely to be a succession of vacancies in the same environment.

 

At Thomas Munroe, we also add value by the careful preparation of information.  An interview pack for the interviewer on each candidate will include visa and passport details, education certificates and diplomas, references, photographs and your consultant’s resumé of the candidate as well as the usual CV and application data.

 

For interviews in the UK, we are prepared and happy to facilitate. We can organise venues, hotel accommodation for interviewees and your Thomas Munroe consultant will be on hand throughout to advise, support and help the interview process.  This, and an in depth knowledge of current UK practice, will increase the likelihood of you finding and retaining the ideal candidate.
