PA to Board of Directors
Our client is a long established and extremely well-respected trading company operating within the construction industry. A major UK Organisation known as leaders of their specialist market. This business engages in the design, manufacture and supply of specialist products to a UK customer base.
Following a period of sustained growth and record profits, the business seeks to appoint a PA to the group’s Directors.
Purpose of job is to provide support to the directors and to the business in the areas of PA duties.
Key accountabilities:
- To provide PA support to the Director’s. Maintaining diaries, processing and responding to correspondence, phone calls and e-mails when required. To carry out tasks as required by the Directors.
- To arrange meetings, prepare agendas, meeting packs, lunches, refreshments and take minutes as required. Maintain appropriate filing systems.
- To co-ordinate travel and accommodation for Directors and visitors from abroad.
- Provide secretarial and admin support to all directors including preparation of reports typing, filing, spreadsheets, and preparation of PowerPoint presentations and file management of electronic documents.
- All work to be carried out to current corporate styles and company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- 3 years previous experience working as a PA to a board of Directors ideally within a construction business.
- Proven track record of liaising at a senior level within an organization
- Proven organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience of managing electronic diary systems (e.g. MS Outlook).
Working hours between 8.00 – 17.00.
